Our Farm Shop is open 09:00 to 18:00 April to October except on Saturdays when it is closed but with the Lakes open for Season Ticket holders only.

We can supply rods, nets, rests, tackle and chairs for hire, Environment Agency Fishing Licences, bait and small tackle for sale, catering for both trout and coarse fishing.

Refreshments are available including hot and cold drinks, snacks with sandwiches and bacon baguettes made to order. We have an outside covered area with picnic benches and toilet facilities are provided.

Fresh trout are available to order or can be prepared for you while you wait. We only sell really fresh fish which are alive until you require them.
We also operate our own hot smoking kiln and can offer whole or filleted smoked trout and produce our own recipe smoked trout pate. These are produced for sale at our local Farmers' Market on Fridays in Newport, please phone to check availability for these products if you wish to collect from our shop.

Smoked Trout

Our Rainbow Trout are marinated in a special low salt brine using dark brown sugar, lemon juice and other natural flavourings. The fish are then Hot Smoked over cherry wood to produce a mild sweet smoked flavour which compliments the delicate flavour of the trout.

The Smoked Trout are supplied as either whole or filleted fish and vacuum wrapped to ensure their freshness is maintained.

Our Pate is made from the same smoked trout and blended with other natural ingredients. This product has a smooth texture with subtle flavours, it is delicious on hot toast and can make an ideal starter course or simply served with a salad.
